Irving please post this issue in the forums (http://windowslivehelp.com/forums.aspx?productid=9) as the support team might be able to give you a quicker reply than before I can take a look into this. I would tend to think this should work and off of the top of my head I cannot think of a change made on the WP side that would break this.

Hi Aaron, I'm currently using WLW 2011 and using WP 3.0.1 on my blog. I used to play with Custom Fields when I first installed my WP blog, before version 3 and before WLW 2011. At that time, I use the WordPressPlugin.dll from Live Writer team.

However, now I can't use that plug-in anymore. Each time I publish a new post, instead of the normal Custom Fields pop-up, I got a pop-up asking for my password. And even if I put the correct password (for my user ID, it doesn't ask for User ID), it always failed.

I don't know whether it is because I use WLW 2011, or because I use WP 3. Either way, I assume WordPressPlugin.dll doesn't work with either (or both) of them.

Do you have any suggestions? I can't find any update for the plug-in, and when I searched the internet, I can't find anyone discussing this issue.

Thanks.
